wlan access point [raspberry pi]

based on:
http://www.daveconroy.com/turn-your-raspberry-pi-into-a-wifi-hotspot-with-edimax-nano-usb-ew-7811un-rtl8188cus-chipset/

install software:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install bridge-utils hostapd -y

update the hostapd:
wget http://www.daveconroy.com/wp3/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/hostapd.zip
unzip hostapd.zip
sudo mv /usr/sbin/hostapd /usr/sbin/hostapd.bak
sudo mv hostapd /usr/sbin/hostapd.edimax
sudo ln -sf /usr/sbin/hostapd.edimax /usr/sbin/hostapd
sudo chown root.root /usr/sbin/hostapd
sudo chmod 755 /usr/sbin/hostapd

uncommend with ‘#’ everything with wlan0 and paste at the end:
sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces

auto lo

iface lo inet loopback
iface eth0 inet dhcp

#allow-hotplug wlan0
#iface wlan0 inet manual
#wpa-roam /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
iface default inet dhcp

auto br0
iface br0 inet dhcp
bridge_ports eth0 wlan0

now edit the hostapd.conf:
sudo nano /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf

interface=wlan0
driver=rtl871xdrv
bridge=br0
ssid=WlanAccessPi
channel=1
wmm_enabled=0
wpa=1
wpa_passphrase=pipikaka
wpa_key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
wpa_pairwise=TKIP
rsn_pairwise=CCMP
auth_algs=1
macaddr_acl=0

now paste into /etc/default/hostapd the following line:
sudo nano /etc/default/hostapd

DAEMON_CONF="/etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf"

now reboot:
sudo reboot
