install proftpd on raspbian [raspberry pi]

a)extend sd card:
sudo raspi-config
choose extend to full sd card

b)update and upgrade the system:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade -y

c)install proftpd:
sudo apt-get install proftpd
y enter

choose standalone

d)
sudo nano /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf

paste:

DefaultRoot ~
AuthOrder mod_auth_file.c mod_auth_unix.c
AuthUserFile /etc/proftpd/ftpd.passwd
AuthPAM off
RequireValidShell off

press:
ctrl x
y enter

e)
cd /var
sudo mkdir www

f)
cd /etc/proftpd/

then:
sudo ftpasswd --passwd --name testuser --uid 33 --gid 33 --home /var/www/ --shell /bin/false

g)
sudo chmod g+s /var/www
sudo chmod 775 /var/www
sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www
