create a multiboot usb-stick with ubuntu-mate / ubuntu 15.10 / clonezilla / multibootsystemrescuecd [debian]

install ubuntu-mate:

mkdir -p /mnt/boot/persistent/ubuntu-mate-15.10-i386/
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/boot/persistent/ubuntu-mate-15.10-i386/casper-rw bs=1M count=1024
sudo mkfs.ext3 /mnt/boot/persistent/ubuntu-mate-15.10-i386/casper-rw
gedit /mnt/boot/grub/grub.cfg
